Dwight Howard might be the new face of the Houston Rockets but the spotlight is currently on Omer Asik and Jeremy Lin as trade rumors continue to swirl.

Although Omer Asik has been the most obvious name in the trade rumors ever since the start of the season, Sports World Report suggests that the Rockets could entertain trades for one of their other stars, Lin.

The chances of a trade involving Lin is low but the organization could at least test the waters.

So far this season, Lin has helped pace the Rockets en route to a solid 32-17 start despite the fact that he saw his playing time diminish earlier in the season following a lackluster campaign last year and a better lineup on the floor.

Despite this, Lin has found himself improving upon his old numbers. He tallied his first career triple-double last week and also had a career-high in rebounds with 11 in his team's 106-92 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Even if Lin won't get traded, he has caught the attention of other coaches who could look to acquire him down the line. Cavs coach Mike Brown praised Lin and teammate Patrick Beverley after the Rockets defeated the Cavs.

"You have to give credit to their two guards," Cavaliers coach Mike Brown said, according to ESPN. "Patrick Beverley and Jeremy Lin played a heck of a game between those guys. Twenty-one rebounds is phenomenal. They just got after it and went after every loose ball and rebounded."
