Every year the Miss BumBum competition includes a variety of women, all competing for the tittle of best derriere. This year the competition's youngest contestant happens to be one of its most determined.

According to Brazilian website Globo, Fernanda Paulino, who is 21 years old, is the youngest contestant in the beauty competition. However, Paulino's goal is not just to win the pageant. She is also determined on becoming a successful veterinarian.

The model, who shares images from the competition on Instagram, is currently a student attending veterinary school. She explained her reasoning behind choosing to focus on an education and career, as well as compete in the pageant.

"I really like animals. I have two dogs, a cat and a parrot at home," she said. "I have the profile and despite my age, I can win. I want that title! I want to graduate, working in the area, but want to be one of the beauties of the country."

The young model, who represents the state of Mato Grosso in the competition, lives in Santo André, São Paulo with her parents and siblings.

"My father does not even know I'm here," she said about her participation in competition. "I do not know what will be his reaction when he finds out. I'm even a little afraid. He might even put me out of the house. He is very traditional. I will not tell, I'll wait it out. I bet some neighbor will tell."

Paulino, who shared that the other contestants have branded her with the nickname "nymphet" because she is new and young, has a boyfriend, but explained that, although he supports her, he is very jealous.

The 2015 Miss BumBum competition began early in August with 27 models chosen out of hundreds of applicants. Paulino will compete with the 26 other contestants for one of the 15 spots that will be featured on the live shows, which start on Nov. 9.
