Last week, Drake fans had to catch their breath after rumors claimed that the rapper had impregnated R&B singer Jhené Aiko. Recently, Jhené Aiko addressed the shocking news.

Tabloid website MediaTakeOut.com reported that Drake was having a baby with Jhené Aiko and cited one of Drake's "former homies" as its source.

"JHENE AIKO carried on a HOT AND STEAMY relationship while on the road," the website said. "And our snitch tells us that Jhene is now TWO MONTHS PREGNANT by Drizzy."

Jhené Aiko, on the other hand, reports less exciting, yet more realistic sounding, news.

"i'm not pregnant , kids . Now run along and enjoy your Friday ! and as my 4th grade teacher use to say .... ' go forth and be a blessing,'" the 25-year-old "Worst" singer said via Twitter with a winking smiley face.

So it seems that there is no Drizzy Aiko cooking in the oven. Although Jhené Aiko reportedly already has a 5-year-old daughter.

The rumor seemed at least somewhat plausible as the two are actually close. Jhené Aiko was an opening act on Drake's Would You Like a Tour? She is also featured on "From Time" from Drake's Nothing Was the Same album. In January, Drake visited Jhené Aiko during her appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

In addition, in November of 2013, while the two were still on tour together, Aiko explained love through Drake's music.

"For me, it's all about giving and not receiving, and that's the line in the Drake song where I said, 'I love me enough for the both of us,' and that's basically what I mean," she said in an interview with Singersroom. "Like, I don't need anything from you. I love you 'cause I love myself."

Aiko has also expressed interest in working with Drake more closely, something that was apparently misinterpreted as a desire to have a baby with the 27-year-old rapper.

"Out of all the people I've worked with, he's the person I would want to do a full project with cause I feel like we complement each other," Jhené Aiko continued. "He has such a diverse audience and great songwriting. He can do a rap song, and an R&B song, then a pop song, and I think I could do that also."
