With only seven remaining contestants vying for the top spot on "Masterchef," things are about to get more exciting and intense in this week's episode called, "A Storm's Brewing."

Last week, Olivia Croupen went home as she failed to impress the judges in the pressure test. Carter Matt reported that using the animal heads for a dish in the challenge highlighted Olivia's weakness as compared to Derrick Peltz, Claudia Sandoval and Hetal Vasavada.

The four chefs had to come up with a dish that will highlight a specific part of the animal head and Olivia was unable to come up with something stellar and as a result, she was sent home.

Meanwhile, this week's episode will put the spotlight on an ingredient that is usually sipped and drunk rather than eaten.

According to the official synopsis on TV Guide, "Coffee is a main ingredient when the remaining cooks compete in the next mystery box challenge. Later, the contestants pair up for a pressure test to create an elaborate party platter."

Based on the trailer video for "A Storm's a Brewing," which can be viewed below, it seems that Nick Nappi won the mystery box challenge because he's missing in the tag team pressure test.

Another scenario noticeable in the clip is the partnership between Stephen Lee and Derrick. The two have had an ongoing rivalry between them since the show started and it only continued when they were paired together.

"Masterchef" posted a photo of the two arguing on its Twitter account with the caption, "And the rivalry continues!"

Meanwhile, Katrina was paired with Tommy and while the two also had a conflict in last week's episode, the stressful situation has helped them overcome their differences.

In fact, the clip shows Tommy trying his best to keep his composure after Katrina seems to have raised her voice at him.

In another image uploaded on Twitter, Tommy can be seen comforting a tearful Katrina.

The other remaining contestants, Hetal and Claudia, worked on a dish together and apart from the quick movements and frustrated looks on their faces, it looks as though no major clash erupted between the two.

"Masterchef" Season 6 airs every Wednesday at 8 p.m. on FOX. "A Storm's a Brewing" episode will be shown on August 19.
