Bangkok officials released a sketch of the suspect of the Bangkok bombing that happened on Monday.

BBC reports that Bangkok officials have released a sketch of the main suspect who was wearing a yellow shirt with a black backpack. Police chief Somyot Poompanmoung stated that the suspect had help. He stated: "He didn't do it alone for sure."

Australian actor Sunny Burns was reportedly detained by Thailand police yesterday after being mistaken for the main suspect, ABC News reported.

On his Instagram account, Burns posted a selfie of him being detained by officers. "I love this country and let's fight together. Let's find this bomber. I'm not a terrorist but I'm a ting tong actor," he stated. You can check the post below:

On Monday, a bombing at the Erawan Hindu shrine in Bangkok, Thailand injured many and disrupted life in one of the Thai capital's popular tourist and affluent neighborhoods. Half of the victims were foreigners. Nationals from China, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Indonesia were among the foreigners killed in the attack.

A reward of one million baht or $28,000 in U.S. dollars has been offered for information leading to his arrest.

According to the Bangkok Post, Chief Poompanmoung also said that the bomb that was tossed from a bridge in at Bangkok's Sathorn pier is the same bomb that was used in the shrine bombing. He also believes that both Thais and foreigners were involved in the bombing.

"I can tell you now that there are not only foreigners involved in the incidents but some Thais must have taken part," he said.

The blast killed 20 people and injured 125 people. Thousands of people flock to the shrine everyday praying for good health and everlasting peace. The shrine is home to a golden statue of Phra Phrom, the Thai representation of Brahma, the Hindu god of creation.

So far, no arrests have been made.
