Drake is now apologizing after lashing out at Rolling Stone magazine for replacing his cover photo with the late Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Yesterday, Drake took to Twitter to complain about Rolling Stone's Feb. 27 issue.

"They also took my cover from me last minute and ran the issue," Drake said via Twitter according to MTV News, but the tweet has since been deleted.

Today, in a blog post titled "Tough Day At The Office" Drake explained his "emotional day."

"I completely support and agree with Rolling Stone replacing me on the cover with the legendary Phillip Seymour Hoffman," Drake wrote. "He is one of the most incredible actors of our time and a man that deserves to be immortalized by this publication."

According to Drake, he was not mad that Hoffman was on the cover, but rather that his own interview was still printed despite the change.

"The circumstances at hand are completely justifiable (on the magazines behalf), but I was not able to salvage my story or my photos and that was devastating," he continued. "They ran the issue without giving me a choice to be in it or not. I would have waited until it was my time because I understand the magnitude of the cover they chose but I just wasn't given that option and that made me feel violated."

The rapper also apologized to Hoffman's family, blaming his reaction to being "forced out of my character," but takes full responsibility.

"These days are the worst ones," he said. "Waking up after a great night in the studio and it's your day to be picked apart. After dwelling on it for a few hours or days you will come to the conclusion that you brought it on yourself almost every time."

Drake finished by saying he respects the magazine, but yesterday he also claimed that Rolling Stone misquoted him on Kanye West's latest album, Yeezus.

"There were some real questionable bars on there," he reportedly said. "Like that 'Swaghili' line? Come on, man. Even Fabolous wouldn't say some shit like that ... Kanye's the reason I'm here. I love everything about that guy."

A Rolling Stone rep confirmed the quote, but Drake claims he never said anything about Yeezus.

"I never commented on Yeezus for my interview portion of Rolling Stone," Drake said in the deleted tweet before adding "I'm done doing interviews for magazines. I just want to give my music to the people. That's the only way my message gets across accurately."
