Star Wars Episode 7 is in full swing now that production is beginning, and casting rumors are still running rampant throughout the blog-osphere!

According to The Epoch Times, the latest casting rumors include a list of movie and news heavyweights:

- The punk band Pussy Riot has "confirmed" that they've been approached for roles in the film (though take their confirmation with a whole pillar of salt, since they've been known for their publicity stunts... which reporters seem to love to eat up, if solely for the fact that they can say "pussy" without facing the ire of their editors -- present company included). ”We have some offers but we cannot say from whom,” said band member Nadezdha Tolokonnikova. “Nothing is agreed, like Star Wars.”

- Tom Hiddleston (who played Loki in the Thor movies) says that he, too, was approached to play a role in Star Wars Episode 7, but he'd like to be cautious in taking a role in the film, if he chooses to do so. "I imagine they're looking for people who don't have an association elsewhere. People need to believe in the character, instead of saying, "Look, it's Loki with a lightsaber!"," he said.

- According to director Michael Bay, Irish actor Jack Traynor, who will be taking over Shia LaBeouf's lead role in the newest Transformers movie Age of Extinction, was approached for a role in the film. Two separate sources outside of Bay also confirmed the rumor to Ain't It Cool News.

Meanwhile, LucasFilm has released the first-ever concept art from Episode 7, if accidentally. The website features a few executives at a production meeting for the film, and behind the director, you can see some concept art. Though it's not clear who did the concept art, it IS clear that the Millennium Falcon will be making an appearance in the film. You can check out the photo here.
