"Sense8," Netflix's summer sleeper hit, has secured a second season, but not too much have been disclosed about the plans for the show.

Indian actor Purab Kohli spoke to The News Hub recently to share more about his thoughts about Rajan and the show. Kohli's character, Rajan Rasal, has not been explored yet by the show during the first season, and some people find his "perfect" personality suspicious. Kohli agreed, saying, "I absolutely agree, he's too good to be true and I'm hoping he reveals some shades of grey in the seasons to follow."

Although it's easy to imagine some skeletons in Rajan's closet, Kohli is just as in the dark as the fans — at least for now. He has a deeper understanding of his character than most people, but part of the package of working for Lana and Andy Wachowski is never knowing what's going to happen next.

"Who knows what the Wachowski's have in store for Rajan Rasal?" he admitted in the interview. "When I questioned Lana while shooting the first season, her smile and hand gestures revealed nothing! It amazes me how he finds positivity in all the signs that would actually point in an opposite direction. Love is a strange thing, I guess, and Rajan surely feels a heavy surge of it for Kala."

Part of the appeal of "Sense8" is the compelling plotline, but another main draw is its fearlessness in tackling different cultures all at the same time. The Netflix series was shot from all over the globe in an attempt to be as authentic as possible, and Kohli told The News Hub that he believed the show "was shot very intelligently."

"For me it's hard to digest a traditional Indian Marriage or a Hindu temple setting with English being spoken," Kohli acknowledged. "But you are catering to audiences from around the world and they have to get the essence of what is going on, and I think the writing really caught that well."

He added, "I honestly liked how Mumbai was portrayed. Lord Ganesh is a favourite in Mumbai, and the Ganesh festival is definitely the high point of the year, and the show got that energy bang on. After 'Slumdog Millionaire,' people from around the world who had never visited would imagine images of dumping grounds -- associating them with the city. There are many flavours to Mumbai, and I think Sense8 has managed to capture a new and exciting visual of Mumbai for the world to see."

Production has not yet begun for "Sense8" season 2, but J. Michael Straczynski recently went on Twitter to imply he's currently writing for the show.

"Hey... I've been writing non-stop for days, pooped... who wants to ride into midnight with me on a Radio JMS electro swing youtube mix? @sense8" he wrote on his Twitter account.

Speculations have been circulating about the release date of the upcoming season, but there has been no official confirmation so far.
