It was a rocking show as famous television personalities Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon performed the fifth installment of their popular segment of The History of Rap on Friday night. Timberlake joined Fallon on his new host spot at The Tonight Show.

It was not the performance as usual; while the audience waited with a lot of anxiety, Fallon and Timberlake sat silently looking at each other with a smile and the duo surprised everyone as they revealed microphones which were hidden behind the desk and burst into rap. The crowd was mesmerized by the style of performance which left them chanting and shouting the pair's names.

Timberlake, 33, and Fallon, 39, showcased their talent as they performed songs from various artists such as Kanye West, LL Cool J, Salt N' Pepa, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and N.W.A. It was really fun and the crowd got a kick as they belted out the Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme song, and even Run DMC's "Walk This Way" was not left out as they were winding up. The performance proved that their vocal range was unbeatable and that their moves were fabulous as they gave fans a different taste of music mixed with humor and comedy.

The concert received some mixed reactions from fans on social media; some thought that Fallon performed in front of a terrible band which he could have avoided by choosing one with a better reputation. Sources revealed that Fallon and the band have been together for five years.

Some fans thought that the show had been performed too much, feeling that it could have been better if it was done once a week but not five times a week. Others suggested that those people simply had not seen "history of rap" enough. Timberlake looked healthy despite having postponed his Wednesday concert due to health issues.
