Say what you want about this bad situation, but at least Ludacris is doing all that he can to give his child the life she deserves: after going back and forth with his "break baby mama" Tamika Fuller, Ludacris and his attorneys have petitioned the courts to not only give him full custody of his newborn love child, Cai Bella Bridges, but to demand child support, as well!

According to AOL's The Boombox, the rapper-turned-actor -- born Christopher Bridges -- has filed papers with the Atlanta courts, claiming that he is a "fit and capable parent," and citing his active role in his other child's life (15-year-old Karma, whose mother is an Atlanta-area attorney) as sufficient reason for getting full physical custody of his new child.

If the rapper does succeed in getting both physical custody and child support from his baby mama, it will certainly change the way women have been dealing with these celebrities as of late. All too often, groupies -- especially rapper's groupies -- go out of their way to get pregnant by them, in an effort to "trap" them into being in a relationship with them, or to get on "the 18 year payment plan" known as child support. This, then, turns a child into a pawn in a sick game.

Of course, according to MStarz, if you ask the former stripper baby mama, this thought never even crossed her mind (nah, of course not), even though Ludacris was -- and still is -- in a very committed and public relationship with former medical student and African activist Eudoxie Agnan (Ludacris REALLY downgraded when he got with Tamika).

The only reason Fuller is dragging Ludacris through the courts, according to her, is because he's a deadbeat dad. "[Cai] has yet to meet her father and it's unfortunate because I would never keep him from seeing her. Let's not lose focus that an innocent child is involved and her best interests come before any of all of this foolishness," she claimed. "In spite of all that has already happened I just ask that the negativity stop towards him and I. We have a child to co parent. Be blessed."
