Demi Lovato revealed during a recent interview what she thinks about the Selena Gomez and Nick Jonas dating rumors.

According to MTV, the singer was asked about the rumors during an interview with Capital FM and was careful not to add fuel to the fire.

"I'm Switzerland," Lovato said. "I have no opinion on that! Listen, if I have an opinion on something, I would say it. I want him to be happy."

Rumors of the two stars dating began when they were spotted together during an after party for the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards. Soon after, Jonas released a new song, titled "Area Code." The lyrics reference the star's single "Good For You," which led several fans to believe the song was about Gomez.

"You say I never been good for you / You can't deny I gave it good to you," Jonas sings. After releasing the song, the singer made matters worse by choosing to favorite two tweets by fans who claimed his song was about Gomez.

Lovato, however, is staying quiet about whether Gomez and Jonas are rekindling their relationship. She also added that she is protective of Jonas' love life and will not introduce him to just anyone.

"People joke, but I also, like, I don't really take it seriously because sometimes the people that are joking just don't really have a chance," Lovato said. "But if somebody actually was like 'hey,' and I thought he would be into them, I'd hook them up. He deserves the best."

Lovato made headlines over the weekend when, during an interview with Alan Carr on the "Chatty Man" show, she was asked if she was bisexual because of the suggestive lyrics in "Cool for the Summer," reported E! Online.

"I'm not confirming and I'm definitely not denying," she said. "All of my songs are based off of personal experiences. I don't think there's anything wrong with experimentation at all."
