Having the latest gadgets around invokes a certain prestige and gravitas to the holder. With Apple's unveiling of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus last Sept. 9, posh seekers have now identified their next cash-out item.

For the record, the latest pair of iOS devices is now available for pre-ordering.

According to Apple Insider, the pre-orders will arrive on Sept. 25. This is the same date the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus will start retailing in 12 countries including China, Canada, Germany, the U.K. and the U.S.

Their contract-free prices will start at $649 for the iPhone 6S and $749 for the 6s Plus. Larger capacity models will be $100 more at each increment.

Meanwhile, the pair will considerably be priced higher in Australia, Canada and Europe due to fluctuating exchange rates as well as the persistent strength of the U.S. dollar, Mac Rumors reported.

By the end of this year, eager iOS fans in 130 countries will soon be in possession of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. The proverbial question now is: How can your iPhone 6s stand out?

While some busy bees might be pondering on possible covers and accessories for their future iOS devices, a gift customization business in Southeast Asia offers a sleek alternative to those willing to pay more.

On a recent post on their official website, Karalux presented a portfolio of their rose gold and 24K gold-plated iPhone 6 and 6s for all potential clients to marvel.

The Vietnamese company said iPhone 6 users, or any iOS device owners for that matter, don't need to wait for the "fake" rose gold colored iPhone 6s. Karalux stated that its engineers can make any iPhone luxurious with real rose gold layer crafted from a special gold variant known as "Chocolate Gold" in Vietnam.

"The processes and procedures to rose gold-plate iPhone are not different from gold-plating 18K or 24K gold. However, the cost and prices are a bit higher as more expensive raw material," said the company's chief product engineer Quang Tu.

Gold-plating an iPhone will take the company's engineers three to four hours to finish. They will be adding a "nano" layer on top of the initial gold layer to strengthen further the build, which they said was the similar substance used in coating Rolls-Royce supercars.

How much will the service actually cost?

The rose gold and 24K gold-plating will cost nine million Vietnamese Dong or approximately $400 for clients in Vietnam. There will be an additional $45 to $135 for overseas customers due to varying shipment fees.
