Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston got married in secret in August to the surprise of the media, which later learned of the ceremony a day after. While it may have been a successful marriage, Justin revealed in a recent interview that keeping it under wraps was also a stressful ordeal.

In an interview with the New York Daily News, the "Leftovers" star talks about his wedding with Aniston and why he considered it not at all fun to have kept the ceremony a secret until the last minute. Justin claimed having to keep the wedding a secret from paparazzi and friends only made what should have been an exciting moment more stressful.

"I wouldn't say it was fun to plan. Part of the fun of planning a wedding is telling people and we had to keep it under wraps," he said.

According to People, Aniston had told guests that she was throwing a surprise party at her Bel-Air home for the actor's 44th birthday. However, guests finally realized that they were actually attending the couple's nuptials when they were already at the venue.

"I noticed it almost immediately. It was like your blood pressure goes down two PSI. It's not like life is completely different. It's a beautiful thing," he said.

The following day after the wedding, the newly-married couple jetted off to Bora Bora for their honeymoon. It was only then that the media was able to report on their secret wedding. News.com.au was able to provide an aerial view of the reception, which was held in the backyard. Jen's pool was reportedly covered with a wooden deck, serving as seating area for the guests.

Justin had previously talked about her marriage with Jennifer during an interview with People in August. It was the first time the actor had spoken about the wedding since arriving from their honeymoon to work on season 2 of "The Leftovers." Theroux, who was engaged to Aniston for three years before tying the knot, told the publication that "it does feel different" being married, but in a good way.

"I'm very happy. It's nice to be able to look down and see a new piece of jewelry on my finger," he said.

Jennifer also expressed her happiness being married to Justin during a guest appearance on Good Morning America" (via Hello Magazine). The actress admits to being "deliriously happy" now that she's Mrs. Theroux.
