Lea Michele received a scare when Ellen DeGeneres pranked her on the set of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Tuesday, Sept. 22.

As Michele was telling DeGeneres about her dream to watch the horror classic "Halloween" with her "Scream Queens" co-star Jamie Lee Curtis while dressed in snuggies and eating candy, a man dressed as Michael Myers jumped up from inside a side table. This caused Michele to shriek, but she ended up laughing, according to E! Online.

"That's it. I'm not coming on your show again," Michele told DeGeneres.

The 29-year-old former "Glee" actress also gushed about her new role on Fox's "Scream Queens," which features several well-known stars, such as Curtis, Emma Roberts, Ariana Grande, Abigail Breslin and Nick Jonas.

"Scream Queens" follows the lives of a group of sorority girls, as a mystery killer wearing a red costume lurks in the shadows around campus. The show, created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, premiered on Fox on Sept. 22.

During her interview with DeGeneres, who is from Louisiana, Michele talked about her experience filming on location in New Orleans. She raved about all the delectable restaurants she had been frequenting, which had forced her to become an avid member at a Pilates gym. While on a swamp tour in the area, Michele said, she even had the chance to feed an alligator.

In one scene she was filming for "Scream Queens," Michele recalled having to be buried up to her neck at night in the city's soil. With her hands buried, Michele was defenseless against spiders trying to crawl on her face. Series creator Murphy had to swipe them off for her.

"Scream Queens" airs on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EDT on Fox.
