The coolest cat in this galaxy and every other -- Billy Dee Williams, better known as Lando Calrissian -- has joined the cast of this season's Dancing with the Stars!

According to We Love Soaps, this season's Dancing with the Stars will feature a new option: "The Switch Up." With this option, viewers will be able to call in and request that the celebrity "switch up" their professional dancing partner. This will be required of all celebrities who remain after the first episode! This, of course, is the first time that such a thing has been done in any version of Dancing With The Stars (or, if you're abroad, Strictly Come Dancing).

According to RumorFix, too, did you know that Billy Dee has a painting hanging at the Smithsonian?! It's true! That's pretty impressive... not quite the same as Jedi School, but impressive nonetheless.

This season, Billy Dee teams up with Emma Slater.

Other cast members for this season include The Price Is Right host Drew Carey, former Wonder Years star-turned-mathematician Danica McKellar, Diana Nyed (the first woman to swim to Cuba), teen scream star Cody Simpson, Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes, former pro hockey player Sean Avery, and former Full House star-turned-evangelist Candace Cameron Bure.

Dancing with the Stars is an American dance competition show airing since 2005 on ABC in the United States, and CTV/CTV Two in Canada. The show is the American version of the British television series Strictly Come Dancing. Tom Bergeron is the Emmy-winning host, alongside Brooke Burke-Charvet from season ten through seventeen. Lisa Canning was co-host in season one, whilst Samantha Harris co-hosted seasons two through to nine. It was confirmed that Erin Andrews will replace Burke-Charvet on the upcoming season.
