"Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star Kris Jenner was upset with her ex-husband on season 10 episode 16, which aired on Sunday, because Caitlyn Jenner said in a Vanity Fair interview that Kris was "superficial" and their family was a "distraction."

In a video clip from Sunday's show, Kim Kardashian is shown speaking with Kris over the phone about Caitlyn's Vanity Fair interview, which seemed to insult Kris.

"F*ck you, Bruce. I honestly wish I had never met this man -- I mean -- just f*ck you, Bruce," Kris can be heard saying over the phone.

Kardashian responds, "I hate this for you that you wasted -- not wasted..."

Kris interrupts her before she can finish, saying, "No, wasted. You're accurate. That is so accurate. That is why this is just so shocking."

Later in the clip, Kris announces that she's leaving town.

"After reading the Vanity Fair article, I was just so disappointed. I need to get away from the negative energy," Kris tells Kardashian.

Later in the episode, Kardashian confronted Caitlyn about the interview.

"You said, 'Oh, Kris mistreated me.' It sounded like she beat the sh*t out of you. You could have had a little bit more respect," she told Caitlyn.

Caitlyn refused to apologize for what she said in the interview, and instead complained to Scott Disick.

"The only thing she cared about was that her Twitter followers went up more in one day than Obama's did," Disick said of Kardashian. "I'll tell you why. Because the greatest athlete of all time turned into a f*cking woman."

When Kris returned from her vacation, she spoke with Caitlyn about the article, and the former couple has reconciled since Sunday's show.

Kris is not the only ex-wife of Caitlyn to struggle with her gender reassignment.

Linda Thompson was married to Bruce for five years and is the mother of their sons Brandon and Brody. She and Bruce divorced in 1986.

Thompson, 65, said during a Sept. 26 interview with Us Weekly that it is strange for her "to see this beautiful woman" and realize, "That's the father of my children."

The actress revealed that Caitlyn told her 30 years ago "who she really was" and said she's always been supportive.

"I felt terrible for her 30 years ago that she couldn't really fully express who she really was," Thompson said. "So I've always been in support of her being who she needed to be. And who she rightfully should be. I think the world is kinder now than it was 30 years ago and certainly more educated. This is not a choice. This is how we're born."

Thompson told Us Weekly that she and Caitlyn continue "to be friendly" and that Caitlyn is invited to every family function.

"She's still a parent. She's still a father," she said.
