In case Kanye West is serious about running for the Oval Office seat in 2020, President Barack Obama made sure the rapper will follow the Black president's lead and shared a few unsolicited advice for a successful run.

Recently, Kanye West expressed his interest to join the 2020 presidential horserace in an interview with Vanity Fair and Yeezy seemed to be confident enough that he will get a lot of supporters.

NBC News reports that President Barack Obama and Kanye, along with wife Kim Kardashian and daughter North, were together during the Democratic National Committee fundraiser in San Francisco when the president gave a few clues for the rapper on how to get the top job done.

According to Obama, some of the stuff he picked along the way is first, about encountering strange personalities during his term.

"First of all, you've got to spend a lot of time dealing with some strange characters who behave like they're on a reality TV show," Obama said. "So you've just to be cool with that."

Obama's first tip was probably aimed at 2015 presidential bet Donald Trump who also starred in the reality game show, The Apprentice. But for Kanye, the president's tip seems to be a breeze since he is practically living and breathing the same air as the reality TV show stars do, given that he is married to "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star Kim Kardashian.

The president gave another advice to Kanye, saying that off-message is strictly prohibited in the world of politics and gave his album, Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy as an example, and even quite threatened him that he could lose his seat by giving off messages.

"Saying that you have a 'Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy' -- that's what's known as 'off-message' in politics," Obama said. "You can't say something like that. There are a lot of people who have lost their congressional seats saying things like that," he added.

In Obama's last advice, Kanye was given a boost and made the rapper feel that seizing the top job is not really impossible.

"Do you really think that this country is going to elect a black guy from the South Side of Chicago with a funny name to be president of the United States?" Chicago-based Obama, who is like Kanye, asked the crowd. "That is crazy. That's cray!"

Obama even joked that if ever Yeezy gets that seat, he will be called "Peezy" then.

With the pieces of advice that the president just gave to Yeezy, Daily Mail reports that the Wests thanked the first family by sending President Obama and his wife, Michelle, two pairs of hard-to-find Yeezy boots. The Obama kids, however, were doubted to receive a pair of the exclusive trendy shoes.

In an Instagram photo, the future First Lady of Kanye West uploaded a snap of two boxes of Yeezy Boosts and captioned it "Special delivery #yeezys"
