JailbreakCon, a conference featuring jailbreakers and others in the tech community who gather and discuss devices, tweaks, and more, will be taking place on April 12-13, 2014, according to the event's website.

The event will be taking place at the South San Francisco Conference Center in California and the event's website provides details on how to purchase tickets as well as directions and location.

It has been an interesting week thus far for the jailbreak community ever since Apple came out with the new iOS 7.1 update, which fixed a variety of issues but also become a roadblock for jailbreakers.

Apple thanked the Evad3rs for doing the work to find loopholes in the security but also warned against some of their practices. For now, it is back to the drawing board for the Evad3rs and other jailbreakers.

"Mention of third-party websites and products is for informational purposes only and constitutes neither an endorsement nor a recommendation," Apple said, according to cultofmac "Apple assumes no responsibility with regard to the selection, performance or use of information or products found at third-party websites."

The jailbreakers are now having to wait yet again after spending a great deal of time waiting out the iOS 7 jailbreak release, which finally came at the back end of December, several months after the September release of the operating system.

For the time being, Evad3rs hackers have warned jailbreakers to stay away from 7.1. It seems like waiting is the best thing to do at this point so that the Evad3rs can figure out the next step and make sure users don't lose their jailbreak with an update. "These particular fixes you don't want, since they'll prevent evasi0n7 from working. Stay away from 7.1," @MuscleNerd, a member of the Evad3rs, said in a tweet.

What do you think about iOS 7 jailbreak so far? Do you think the Evad3rs will figure things out with iOS 8 once that operating system is eventually released? Let us know what you think in the comments section below.
