People love watching TV and movies. Some consumers view their media via digital downloads. Yet other people desire the excellent audio and video quality offered by physical discs.

What if there was a way to combine the ease of digital media with the quality of physical media? Well, one such product promises to transform your movie watching experience for the better. After all, when you want to watch a movie or TV show, you want the drama to stay onscreen and not extend into your personal life.

Coined "The Ultimate Movie Player," the Kaleidescape Cinema One is every cinephile's dream come true. The Cinema One is a media management system and entertainment hub. It legally converts your DVDs and Blu-rays into high-fidelity digital files. In fact their is no loss of quality whatsoever!

The Kaleidescape allows its owner to store thousands of DVDs on its 4-terabyte HDD. The best part is that you won't have to retrieve the disc again. Blu-rays work a bit differently though. They require that the movie or TV show disc be in the unit at all times for verification.

There are two major caveats however: price and Blu-ray playback quirks. The "One" retails for a cool $3,995.00. Shockingly, the Kaleidescape doesn't support basic apps like Netflix and Hulu Plus. Additionally, it forgoes the ability to store and playback 3D Blu-Ray movies!

You're still hung up on the price, aren't you? Well, considers this: for the price of a Cinema One you could buy eight brand new Xbox One game systems. Oh yeah, and the Xbox plays games as well as Blu-Ray movies. One cool feature the expensive set-top box has going for it is the fact that you can control the unit with an iPad app.

So while you may think that the Cinema One is ridiculously priced, it's actually a bargain compared with the company's other products. Kaleidescape's premiere product line will set customers back anywhere between $9,000 and $25,000. Such large and intricate systems are meant to be installed in a millionaires plane, yacht or mansion.
