If Kim Kardashian would quit fame, how would you feel? If Justin Bieber would "clean up his act" and go back to being America's sweet love, would you prefer it? If the box office's next million-dollar hit would be a film staring Lindsay Lohan, would you believe it? Next question is, do you believe in destiny? In a special order where the world chooses certain people to live a certain life to influence others?

Lindsay Lohan has seen many ups and downs in her life. Many ridicule the red head who was once a child star and then one of the most popular young actresses in Hollywood. Now that Lindsay Lohan has messed up so many times and her career is not what it used to be, do you believe she can make a comeback? One of the world's most influential women does. Oprah Winfrey has given Lindsay her own docu-series called simply Lindsay. Recognizing that this is her very last chance, Lindsay embarks in what seems to be the journey back into her career. If you could care less about this subject then this isn't the "read" for you. But I want you to look deeper than just Lindsay Lohan. I want you to see America, the ultimate dream, the fame and power that everyone wants, success and the human inability to be able to handle "having it all." Look at her story, look at her world, and look at something that can probably happen to anyone. Her influence might be a little different, but there is a big lesson in the life of Lindsay Lohan.

Born July 2, 1986 in New York City, Lindsay Lohan was meant to shine. Parents Michael and Dina Lohan, though controversial, have loved and supported their daughter through out her career. In the late 1990s we started seeing a red head, freckled little girl amaze us with her talent through Parent Trap,  Life Size and Get A Clue. At a very young age Lindsay proved to be able to take over the big screen with ease. Like so many young Hollywood stars, Lindsay started landing more and more roles, promising a bright future to come in her adult life. So, no, Lindsay wasn't "Drew Barrymoring it" drinking at 8 years old or partying before she could even spell the word... that part of her story came after.

Still to this day, we cannot have a conversation with our girls without quoting a scene from Mean Girls. Is there a person on earth who hasn't seen the movie that finally put into light the drama that we girls go through in high school? My favorite character? "Cool mom" Amy Poehler -- holy crap, that is so accurate in suburbia! Anyway, Lindsay was making hit after hit, following up with Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen and Just My Luck. The girl even has some serious set of vocals on her, releasing a variety of great songs that people often underestimate. It was through her song "Confessions of a Broken Heart" that we first got to see the personal trauma that probably drove Lindsay to the edge.

She unfortunately adapted the name "fire crotch" from her hardcore partying days with America's favorite heiress Paris Hilton. That little nickname was given to her by Paris's friend Brandon Davis (another trust fund kid) when Paris and Linds were at odds. Lindsay started loosing weight and gaining mug shots. We started seeing her out partying with Paris and friends more than on movie screens. Her frail figure was even alarming at one point. Lindsay soon admitted that, yes, she would make herself sick sometimes. The drugs and alcohol consumed night after night was not making the star get any healthier or any smarter. Her big career was crashing down as in fact her drunk driving was crashing her cars. Linds became more popular for being caught by the paparazzi coming out of nightclubs and courtrooms than landing big movie roles.

Yes, Lohan's story is not an uncommon one, as many big stars have experienced similar dark times. You know what's funny? Many of these stars who have fallen and revived their careers, like Britney Spears and Nicole Richie, have been connected to Paris Hilton. Not blaming anything on the woman who has masterminded her way into fame and popularity (cheers to American culture), but just thought I would state that curious fact out loud. Anyway, the difference between Lindsay and other celebrities is that she never really came back from it.

Lindsay's countless stays in rehab centers seem to have finally got through to her. In 2013, she walked out of a rehabilitation center for the sixth time. The queen of talk show television Oprah was the first to sit and chat with Lindsay Lohan. During this interview Oprah was, well, Oprah. She is straight to the point, in your face and real... just because she can. That might be the reason why so many celebrities open up to her as Lindsay also did. Lindsay sat in an orange dress and her tide back pouring out her heart. She said she wanted to change and that she had had enough of her wild days. She also recognized one thing... her career is hanging on by a thread. Maybe loosing her lawsuit to superstar Pitbull after he claimed to be "locked up like Lindsay Lohan" in his song "Give Me Everything" made Lindsay think: Hmm, I need to make money the way I used too.

So Oprah took her word for it. Better yet, she promised her a show on her OWN network if she really got her act together. Oprah is an insightful woman, she saw in Lindsay an opportunity to maybe help a lost girl out there find her way again. Not to mention she probably felt bad for her and wanted to give her a little boost back into her career. Well, Lindsay took up Oprah's challenge to stay sober and get back on track and Oprah gave her the show. Lindsay premiered on March 9 on the OWN network. The very first episode premieres with Lindsay's decision to leave L.A and move back to New York City. Los Angeles proved to be a dangerous world of temptation for Linds and, alongside mom Dina, she is ready for a new start.

But snapping into perfection can be difficult for some one so good at just letting go and having fun. Oprah herself soon shows up to have a talk with Lindsay as she refuses to follow the terms of the show and is even rumored to have broken her sobriety. But nobody messes with the O, as Lindsay soon learns as she continues to prove to her viewers that this is her rebirth. From landing movie roles to staying sober, life for Lindsay is no longer a walk in the park. As she says, this is her moment to prove that she can take control of herself and her actions.

So will Lindsay Lohan finally make a comeback? Has she really remained sober? How detrimental can drugs, alcohol and money really be to young people? We don't all have fame and millions of dollars in our bank accounts, but downfalls in life happen. Let Lindsay's story be an example of how self-discipline can be more important than you think. Whether or not you are a Lindsay Lohan fan, let her path to a new life be inspirational to you. For all of you hopefuls and up-and-coming stars: stay grounded and keep good vibes around you always. Hollywood is a whole other world, but it doesn't have to be a dangerous one. Embrace your victories with good things, and don't try anything that threatens to be addictive. Good luck to Lindsay Lohan because I personally want to see her succeed and so do many other fans and onlookers as well.
