Lance Hunter's mission to get even with Ward came with a high price and Leo Fitz discovered what Jemma Simmons is up to on the "Devils You Know" episode of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." this season three.

The fourth episode of the series produced by Marvel Television and ABC Network aired on Tuesday, Oct. 20, written by Paul Zbyszewski and directed by Ron Underwood, showed how Hunter (Nick Blood) was determined to avenge what Grant Ward (Brett Dalton) did to the love of his life Agent Bobbi Morse (Adrianne Palicki) last season. Ward tortured Morse and put her in a position to witness Hunter being killed as soon as he entered the room by a gun that was pointing directly at the door. Morse, who was bound to a chair, sacrificed herself and suffered the blow.

Hunter's revenge

A clip uploaded on YouTube, showing him and Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) discussing how they will penetrate HYDRA and Ward, just revealed how much this mission means to him. May observed that Hunter is becoming sloppy with the mission as he does not have much information about it.

In the end, Hunters opened fire with Ward, despite Dr. Andrew's (Blair Underwood) life is at stake, Comic Book noted.

Simmons' next project

Elizabeth Henstridge already revealed on Entertainment Weekly that her character, Simmons, is suffering a post-traumatic stress disorder after being transported by the Kree monolith to another dimension.

"She has PTSD. She's been through something, which, for her especially, was just unthinkable. She's not been sure about any of the Inhuman stuff or the alien everything. Now all of a sudden she experiences it. Not to say that she's an Inhuman, but she has experienced alien things first hand and it has changed her," Henstridge said.

In her session with Dr. Andrew, she shared that she lost hope while in the other world but she did not say what actually made her give up, Comic Book noted.

However, Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) soon discovered that Simmons' next project is to come back to the portal and she even asked Fitz to help her.

What's in the other world that makes Simmons decide to face the other harsh dimension again?

Lash's monstrous acts

ATCU and S.H.I.E.L.D. eventually partnered to track the Inhuman Lash. Lash is seen killing other Inhumans, too and Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet) just saw him transforming back into a human form.

All of these new developments make the next episodes of the series exciting. Is May's ex-husband, Dr. Andrew still alive? Will Fitz accompany Simmons to the portal and to the other world?
