Will "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." finally give romance a chance between lab partners Leo Fitz and Jemma Simmons, especially after the agency's rescue mission of the biochemist?

Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge), who was swallowed by the Kree monolith last season, was shown trapped in another world on the premiere episode of the series in season three.

On the second episode, she was brought back to Earth due to Fitz's (Iain De Caestecker) unwavering determination and the team's united efforts. Viewers saw Simmons being comforted by the nearness of Fitz. She even chose to rest her head on her lab partner's lap for solace instead of going back to her bed.

However, Henstridge admits on Entertainment Weekly that Leo and her character, who had a rough time in the other dimension, may still not cross that line.

"I think she'll be leaning on him even more. The first word she says when she comes back is Fitz. All she wants to do is be close to him. She has a nightmare and he's by her bedside. She crawls over and then can fall asleep because she's close to him. It's so far away from being romantic at the moment. He's just there for pure comfort," Henstridge explains.

Still, there's no denying that they are inching towards that destination and being best friends before romantic partners will be the best way to go for them.

Meanwhile, Lincoln (Luke Mitchell), the Inhuman with electricity-related abilities and the one who helped Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet) accept and control her powers, may be in danger in the third episode, basing on its synopsis released by the ABC network. MCU Exchange featured the synopsis for the episode that will air on Tuesday, Oct. 13, from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. ET on ABC, as follows:

" 'A Wanted (Inhu)man' -- Daisy, Mack and Coulson race to protect Lincoln as Rosalind Price's team hunts down the Inhuman in their quest for powered people. Meanwhile, Hunter proves that there is no line that he will not cross to exact his revenge against Ward and Hydra, on 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' "

However, will it only be Lincoln whose life may be in peril? Constance Zimmer, the actress playing Rosalind Price, ACTU's head, somehow hinted on Yahoo! TV that there will be a great revelation down the road, or there could be another Inhuman in the agency.

"Somebody just found out the other day that they were something that they had no idea they were. All of us were shocked," Zimmer said.

Who could it be?
