Young, talented and famous, even "Dance Moms" alum Chloe Lukasiak is not exempt from insecurity and bullies.

According to a report from Daily Mail, the 14-year-old dance star discovered that her lazy eye was a symptom of a medical condition called silent sinus syndrome. It's a serious condition that could result in problems with her vision if left untreated. To address her condition, Lukasiak had to undergo surgery.

The former "Dance Moms" talent opened up to Seventeen Magazine saying, "I didn't know how bad the situation was yet, so my mind automatically started thinking the worst. I was really scared."

While the surgery didn't freak out on the surgeon's table, Lukasiak admitted that some of the cruel comments about her "lazy eye" messed with her self-esteem.

"Normally the hate comments don't really affect me," she explained. "I sort of have learned to walk it off, because you can't really do this kind of thing and listen to these comments, you have to just ignore them. But about my eye comments, that really hurt."

She shared her method for getting over the online bullies adding, "I'd read them and it would affect me, but in the end I would say, okay, my health is more important. I shouldn't be worried or concerned about these comments because right now I just need to focus on getting myself better before I address the hate comments."

The cruelty of some people towards the teenage reality star was balanced by the overwhelming support she received after opening up online in a revealing video in a previous Seventeen report. According to the dancer, it felt good knowing she's helping people.

For her fans going through the same experience, she advised, "Take care of the real problem first. Just focus on getting yourself better and ignore what other people say. None of that matters. I know a lot of people say that and it's a lot easier said than done, but trust me, it helps, don't listen to that."

In the end, there's no denying Lukasiak came out on top. While she was unable to reveal specifics, the dancer hinted that fans can watch out for more of her projects soon.

"I feel great," she shared. "I feel so relieved that I got to put that out there. Everything that people said was amazing. I'm still healing, it's a little swollen but not too much, and it doesn't hurt. Everything's really good right now!"
