The Green Bay Packers and Denver Broncos will face off on Sunday night in the biggest game of the NFL regular season so far. These teams have a combined 12-0 record, and both are being picked by many NFL experts to make it to the Super Bowl. This is after all a Super Bowl rematch from the late '90s when Brett Favre and John Elway dueled against one another.

Now 17 years later, we get another epic matchup between two Hall of Fame quarterbacks. Who knows? Maybe we'll see these two facing off again in February.

Green Bay Packers (6-0)

Everyone focuses on Aaron Rodgers, and rightfully so, but let's not lose sight of what's taking place on defense. The Packers have the No. 1 scoring defense in the entire NFL. Clay Matthews is making his case as the league's best defender. He and Julius Peppers have a combined 10 sacks this season, and their secondary has forced the sixth most interceptions in the league so far.

Anyway, back to Rodgers. He is having another stellar season with 15 touchdowns and two interceptions. We could very well see Rodgers win his second consecutive MVP award this season. Rodgers is great coming off a bye week, and the Packers have won all six of their games by at least seven points.

The running game has been somewhat of an issue however. Eddie Lacy is only averaging 3.9 yards per carry, and the Packers have just three rushing touchdowns the entire season. Thankfully for Mike McCarthy squad's, James Starks has stepped up. Starks is actually the leading rusher with 286 yards on the ground. This will be a huge test on the road, and you know Packers fans will be pulling for the Indianapolis Colts to defeat the 6-0 Carolina Panthers on Monday.

The Packers play the Panthers next week.

Denver Broncos (6-0)

The Packers may very well have Matthews and Peppers, but the Broncos have Von Miller and DeMarcus Ware. Ware and Miller have a combined 7.5 sacks, and this Broncos defense has been simply incredible this season. The Broncos rank No. 2 in points allowed, No. 1 in yards allowed, No. 1 in pass defense, and they've created the most turnovers. They even have the No. 4 ranked rush defense. In other words, the Broncos defense has been perfect.

Peyton Manning isn't playing quite like himself this year as he has thrown more picks than touchdowns, but he's still "The Sheriff." Manning is making the key throws when they matter the most, and 6-0 is all that matters at this point. No quarterback in NFL history has begun a season 6-0 as many times as Manning has.

The Broncos have won their last three games by a combined 12 points.

Emmanuel Sanders will in fact play despite the shoulder injury, and it's time for Demaryius Thomas to start holding on to the football. The Broncos biggest weakness this season has been running the football. They are the second worst running team, and they have just two rushing touchdowns the entire season. They will have to be more balanced if they're going to beat the Packers.

The Broncos play the Colts next week.

Schedule

The Packers and Broncos will play each other on Sunday night at 8:30 p.m. EDT on NBC. The game will be played at Mile High stadium in Denver, Colorado. You can watch a live game stream here.

Prediction

This should be a great game between two teams who are undefeated. It's not really a "must win" situation for either team as this is a nonconference match. Both teams have quality quarterbacks, a great defense, and they know how to pull out wins in clutch circumstances. Lack of a running game could result in some interceptions for both teams. I'm going to go with the Broncos because their defense is playing incredible right now forcing turnovers and they have home field advantage.

Broncos win 24-20
