Ariana Grande spoke up about gender equality in a recent radio interview.

The 22-year-old singer, who identifies as a feminist, made her opinion on the subject known when she was asked a sexist question by Power 106 radio DJs Justin Credible and Eric D-Lux, according to Nylon.

In the interview, the DJs asked the simple question, "If you could use makeup or your phone one last time, which one would you pick?"

Obviously offended by the sexist nature of the question, Grande responded, "Is this what you think girls have trouble choosing between? Is this men assuming that that's what girls would have to choose between?"

After this awkward exchange and some eye rolling from both sides of the interview desk, the conversation turned to emojis. However, the subject of sexism resurfaced when the DJs asked Grande what one thing would she want to change about the world.

Grande answered, "I have a long list of things I'd like to change. I think just sort of judgment in general; intolerance, meanness, double standards, misogyny, racism, sexism, all that shit. There's lots we need to get started on. We've got work to do!"

Grande recently released her lead single "Focus," along with the song's music video. Grande sports frosty white locks in the video and dances with a group of girls on a purple stage. The video then changes to black and white, while Grande switches into a star-print leotard.

Grande first previewed "Focus" in the commercial for her new perfume Ari by Ariana Grande in early October. The song is the lead single for her upcoming album, "Moonlight."

No release date for "Moonlight" has been announced yet. This will be the follow-up to her 2014 offering "My Everything," which topped the Billboard 200 chart and reached No. 3 in the U.K. The album produced hits, such as "Problem," "Break Free," "Bang Bang," "Love Me Harder" and "One Last Time."
