It is finally down to the Top 10 -- on last night's (March 19) episode of American Idol, the remaining contestants got the audience singing along to some of the Billboard hits from the recent years.

MK Nobilette sang "Perfect" by Pink. Although she tried to step out of her comfort zone by moving around a bit onstage, she seemed to be relying on the backup singers. However, Keith Urban liked her look and voice, and how she was still able to carry on with her performance despite the band messing up. Jennifer Lopez disagreed and told Nobilette that she needs to do a better job.

Dexter Roberts expectedly performed the Florida Georgia Line hit, "Cruise." Harry Connick Jr. did not think it was a good performance, saying it was "bereft of joy" and "meandering."

Jena Irene sang Zed's "Clarity" featuring Foxes. Overall, her performance was great, as she owned the stage, sounded amazing, and connected with the audience. Connick Jr. was the most genuinely complimentary out of all season, while Urban pointed out Irene's incredible melody change to suit her voice, which she has been her theme throughout the competition.

And the best performance of the night -- Alex Preston wowed all three judges by singing One Direction's mega-hit track, "Story of My Life." He sang his own sped-up rendition, almost making it his own. Ryan Seacrest loved Preston's singing, as he complimented him via Twitter.

After singing "Runaway Baby" not so well, it was Malaya Watson's second time singing a Bruno Mars song. She performed "When I Was Your Man," and this time, she was able to reach the high notes, and Keith Urban commented that her voice control is improving and that it really pulled him in.

Caleb Johnson sang Lady Gaga's "The Edge of Glory." This performance was not his best, but he was still great. Although Harry Connick Jr. knows that Johnson is good at "the loud thing," the panelist told him he would like to see something a bit quiet from him in the future.

CJ Harris performed "Invisible" by Hunter Hayes. While Lopez seemed like she was into it, Connick Jr. certainly was not interested at all. Overall, the judges said that he needs to work on keeping his pitch in check.

Jessica Meuse sang "Pumped Up Kicks" by Foster The People with a weird accent. J. Lo was content, but Harry Connick Jr. thought that the way Meuse sang and her smiling while singing out the lyrics were just strange.

Majesty Rose performed Avicii's "Wake Me Up." Connick Jr. seemed like he enjoyed it, commenting that he was happy to see her going back to her acoustic, folk root, instead of being all over the place, trying to do too many things at once.

Sam Woolf seemed somewhat off at the beginning of "We Are Young" by fun., however he got better when he got to the chorus. With back-up singers and a loud band, it was hard to hear him. Harry Connick Jr. said Woolf is being too timid so he needs to come out of his shell.
