These days, people are looking for more value than ever for their money. This led to the trend of premium 2-in-1 devices, which are designed to be versatile and ultra-handy options for those who want it all.

A leaked overview for Lenovo's ThinkPad line shows that the company is driven to be competitive in the consistently rising category of tablet-turned-laptops in the upcoming year, especially with its brand new model the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Tablet.

According to a report from Windows Central, the leak was released in WinFuture. The slide offered a peek at several business notebooks, but most notable is the 12-inch X1 tablet that's labelled as an Enterprise 2-in-1. A report from Phone Arena explained that this means that the device will balance handy phablet features with technical capabilities for a high-end performance.

It's likely to rival Microsoft's best-selling Surface Pro collection, which has been the standard of 2-in-1 gadgets as of late, but no other specs have been confirmed on the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 so far. The announcement will likely come soon as the release date for the new business tablet is in February 2016.

The slide also revealed a 14-inch Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga set to be launched in December 2015, as well as an update to the Carbon notebook in 2016.

Meanwhile, consumers who can't wait to get their hands on a Lenovo convertible laptop can opt for the recently announced Lenovo Yoga 700.

According to a report from Ecumenical News, the upcoming model will be out in two variants: an 11-inch laptop and a 14-inch version. Both will feature a Full HD IPS display, 1920x1080 screen resolution, Dolby DS1.0 Home Theater speakers and Windows 10.

The smaller laptop will be equipped with an Intel Core m3 processor plus 4GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD storage, while the 14-inch variant will feature the latest Intel Core i7 Skylake processor with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD storage.

Senior vice president of Lenovo's PC Business Group Johnson Jia revealed that the new model was designed to provide users with maximum convenience for an on-the-go lifestyle.

"We know fast performance, easy portability and rich sound and display are features consumers expect in a laptop today," Jia told Ecumenical News in the report. "Consumers can get a premium quality convertible laptop for work and travel at the price of a standard laptop."
