"Love & Basketball," the fifth episode of "iZombie" this second season, introduces the presence of an anti-cure for zombies, which Ravi and Blaine found out. Another interesting thing about the episode is that Clive got more clues about the Meat Cute case.

The Search for a Cure

In the recent episode, one of Blaine's (David Anders) people delivered a tainted Utopium sample to Ravi (Rahul Kohli), which he can use for finding a cure to the zombie phenomenon that has created havoc in Seattle, Comic Book noted.

This is Ravi's focus this season, as mentioned by executive Robert Thomas on Collider.

"He will also be incredibly involved with trying to remake a cure and trying to locate the tainted Utopium," Thomas said.

Now that he had the tainted Utopium, he wasted no time in creating the cure again. Last season, only two zombies benefited to be changed back to their human forms. They were Blaine and Major (Robert Buckley).

However, in one scene, a very excited zombie, Gabriel (Yani Gellman), the same guy who was responsible in the tainted utopium recipe, per Comic Book, already injected himself with the formula to infect the laboratory rats. He then met his early demise after he got a shot of it. Thus, Blaine and Ravi discovered that there is an anti-cure that could easily kill zombies.

More clues for Clive

Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) learned from Agent Bozzio (Jessica Harmon) that the missing astronaut's DNA were discovered in the sink of the Meat Cute shop. Later, Lt. Suzuki's widow also revealed that she was able to find a part of a brain in her husband's personal freezer in his private office. Could Clive put these clues together, down the road, and solve the zombie problem their city is facing now? Will Major, who has been turning over a new leaf, suffer once Clive finds out the truth? What about Liv (Rose McIver)? Will Clive find out about her too?

Meanwhile, The CW network already released the synopsis for the sixth episode of the series, "Abra Cadaver," informed Comic Book. The plot reads as follows:

"Liv consumes the brains of a death-obsessed illusionist who was murdered in cold blood during a magicians' convention in Seattle. As Liv and Detective Babineaux investigate the case, she uses her new skills to help narrow down the suspect pool. Meanwhile, Blaine gives Liv some interesting news, and Ravi makes a decision but things don't end up going quite as planned. Lastly, Major continues to distance himself from Liv."

Watch on Nov. 10, 9:00 p.m. ET on The CW, the "Abra Cadaver" episode of "iZombie."
