Electronic Arts (EA) has announced that the release of Titanfall for Xbox 360 was moved to April 8 and April 11 in North America and Europe respectively. It was actually set for launch in North America on March 25, according to CNET, meaning that this is the second time the Xbox 360 release date has been changed. Respawn Entertainment, the developer of the game, said that it was originally set to launch together with the Xbox One and PC editions on March 11.

Apparently, Xbox 360 is getting a separate treatment for the game. According to Patrick Söderlund, EA Studios executive vice president, the Xbox 360 will have Xbox One and PC game versions like the 6v6 gameplay, weapons, maps, modes and Burn Cards. To make Xbox 360 better, they are putting in a few more features so players can enjoy the full experience of Titanfall for Xbox 360. However, rumors that Titanfall Gameplay for the Xbox 360 version will deliver at 30fps output and sub-720p were not clarified by EA.

Bluepoint Games is creating Titanfall for Xbox, chosen by Respawn Entertainment for their previous projects including several jobs with Sony such as the God of War collection, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale for Vita as well as Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, and Flower for Vita and PS4.

The launch of Titanfall was regarded as the biggest video game release in 2014 so far. Soon after it was launched on March 14, Titanfall went to the top position on the all formats chart and has stayed there since Monday, March 17. The sales during the launch were not published by Respawn but it contributed to the increase sales of Xbox One. Seventy percent of Xbox One sales in the U.K. were from Titanfall bundles according to Chart-Track, an entertainment sales monitoring research company.
