Famed Avant-Garde performer and singer Sia gave a dramatic and eye-catching performance at "Saturday Night Live" as she continues to promote her upcoming new album. Sia performed two powerful new songs off from her album.

The Donald Trump-hosted episode, which was reportedly much anticipated by the SNL viewers according to the Rolling Stone, featured Sia performer her newly released two songs from her upcoming album titled "This is Acting."

The performances, which first featured the song "Alive," were creatively and dramatically carried out by Sia and several of her back-up singers including nine-year-old Mahiro Takano. Sia was also seen to be in character donning a two-colored wig that covered her eyes for the entire performance, Entertainment Weekly reports.

After singing "Alive," Sia then performed "Bird Set Free" and had a costume change, donning an-all black ensemble from her Blue color-palette outfit from her first performance. Sia also wore a giant black bowtie on her head, which she changed from wearing a blue bowtie for "Alive."

"Bird Set Free," according to NME, had more choreography than "Alive" as Sia's dancer did a miming and acted like they were trapped in a coccoon.

The "Elastic Heart" and "Chandelier" hitmaker came back with a bang as she also recently released a music video for "Alive," having a similarly dark and heavy theme as her performance on SNL, Rolling Stone further reported.

NME noted that both songs were originally written for Adele. However, Sia decided to finally release the songs she wrote for other artists and place it in one album, which she will reportedly launch by January 2016.

The songs were all written by Sia and were previously kept to herself, NME reports. The anticipated album housing all new songs is a follow-up from Sia's 2014 album "1000 Forms of Fear."

Surprisingly, Adele, in her continuous promotion for her new hit single "Hello," will be SNL's next musical guest in two weeks, Rolling Stone reports. The publication further said that next week's SNL episode will also feature big-named singers and celebrities like Elizabeth Banks, who will host the show, and musical guests like Disclosure, Lorde and Sam Smith.
