Fans are rooting for "The Voice" judges Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani's budding romance, but in the case of Stefani's friends, they probably aren't a part of the Blake-Gwen support system.

While it may be true that the country crooner is making Stefani happy, an exclusive source told Hollywood Life that her friends think that her relationship with Shelton is just going to be a short-lived fling. All the more, they said that the "No Doubt" front woman is just using Shelton as a rebound on the heels of her divorce with Bush front man, Gavin Rossdale.

"It's not Gwen's style to be so open about her private life at all. It's a big shock to everyone in her inner circle that she's been so forthcoming about her relationship with Blake," the source told the publication. "There are a lot of people in her world that are convinced she and Blake won't last, that he's just a rebound, but right now he's making Gwen happy and that's all that matters."

A point may be taken from the 46-year-old lady singer's friends, most especially when Stefani kept on denying that she is not in a new relationship with Shelton.

When Stefani was interviewed during the 93.3's Frankie and Geena Morning Show, E! News reported that she denied being with anyone as of now. "You're in a new relationship. Are there songs about newfound love or newfound relationships on the album?" one of the hosts asked, to which replied "I never said nothing about being in a new relationship."

She also said that she didn't know who said that she was in a new relationship, even though her representative has confirmed the dating rumor last week, saying that "Gwen and Blake are longtime friends who have very recently started dating."

Since Stefani is still reeling from her split with Rossdale -- her husband of 13 years -- last August, moving on has been quite tricky for her and it served as an inspiration for her new song, "Used To Love You."

In the same show, she admitted that the song is her "break up record" and she wrote it in the wake of her recent marriage collapse. "My truth is 'Used to Love You': That's the song. That's what I said, and I feel really fine about sharing that, and I feel honored to share it," Stefani said as she elaborated on her new music's theme.
