The promo for Thursday's episode of NBC's "Heroes Reborn" is here, and the episode will pick up with the revelation of Tommy Clark's (Robbie A. Kay) true identity.

"Claire Bennet is my mom. Hiro Nakamura is my stepdad. How's that complicated?" Tommy says sarcastically in the preview for Episode 9 of Season 1, titled "Sundae, Bloody Sundae."

Fans recently found out that Claire Bennet died while giving birth to twins -- a boy and girl. The boy turns out to be none other than Tommy, aka Nathan Bennet. He inherited the Petrelli gene and stole Claire's regeneration powers from the womb.

After Angela Petrelli (Cristine Rose) had a vision of Claire's children saving the world in one year, Noah Bennet (Jack Coleman) sent the babies back in time with Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka) so they could age and properly prepare for the task.

The problem is "Nathan" doesn't know any of this, given the fact that Casper the Penny Man (Pruitt Taylor Vince) was forced to wipe his mind.

Unlike the younger, angsty version in the present, future "Nathan" had no qualms about saving the world. Hopefully, Tommy will come to terms with the news quickly enough.

He'll need to if he wants to save his friend Emily (Gatlin Green), who looks to be in danger from the crazed Joanne (Judith Shekoni).

Last week, fans also discovered that Noah "stepped on a butterfly" when he caused his past self to shoot Renautas CEO Erica Kravid (Rya Kihlstedt) in the leg.

Erica was saved by Quentin (Henry Zebrowski), who made a deal with her in exchange for his sister Phoebe (Aislinn Paul). Phoebe then presumably brought Quentin over to the dark side, as a year later he is alive and well, but working as a mole for Renautas.

That clearly comes as a surprise to Noah in the clip for the coming episode, as Quentin pulls a gun right in Tommy's face.

The new episode of "Heroes Reborn" will air this Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. Watch the trailer below!
