Selena Gomez has been looking amazing lately, so the world can be forgiven for thinking she's not single. She's also been spotted out and about looking cozy with new man Samuel Krost. Still, the brunette beauty squashes the rumors of a new romance, saying she's flying solo for now.

During the 2015 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in New York City, Gomez took the time at the red carpet to talk to E! News about the recent speculation surrounding her love life.

"A little bit," she responded cheekily when asked if she's dating. "But no, I'm definitely single."

The rumor mill has been going overdrive after the singer-actress was spotted looking sweet with one of Gigi Hadid's low-key friends Krost. When the 2015 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show wrapped up, the pair was also seen at an after-party. The rumored couple arrived and left separately, but within minutes of each other.

They were first spotted enjoying each other's company at Cipriani's on Monday, even turning up the PDA at one point when Gomez slipped on Krost's lap. According to a report from ET Online, Gomez was photographed holding hands outside the restaurant after their dinner with another friend.

Although the two could still be at an early phase of their romance, the coupling puts a wrench in the hopes of fans of Gomez and Justin Bieber. The possibility of the famous pair rekindling their relationship has seemed strong as of late as Bieber opens up about the failed romance in Ellen DeGeneres.

"We have a lot of history together and I am sure it could possibly happen," Bieber responded when asked by DeGeneres if reconciliation is possible. "But I think we are both just on our own journeys and figuring ourselves out and I think maybe once we figure ourselves out we can come together and make an awesome duo."

He conceded, "Or you know, she'll find someone else and I'll find someone else. I just want her to be happy, honestly."

It's not the first time Bieber has spoken out about Gomez in recent weeks. As the spotlight turned to him in anticipation of his upcoming album "Purpose," his name is still linked with his ex-girlfriend's and he admitted he's made a lot of mistakes when they were together.

In an interview with I-D, the singer confessed about problems saying, "Because then, it's like trust and all this other stuff that starts messing with your mind. You're on the road. And there are beautiful women on the road. And you're just getting yourself into trouble."
