Jennifer Lawrence recently discussed her nonexistent love life and her ongoing insecurity despite her fame.

"No one ever asks me out," the Oscar-winning star of "Hunger Games: Mockingjay- Part 2" told Vogue magazine in a cover story profile. "I am lonely every Saturday night. Guys are so mean to me."

Though she thought she knew the root of the problem, the 25-year-old actress said awareness doesn't make it any easier to accept or deal with rude suitors.

"I know they're trying to establish dominance, but it hurts my feelings," she said. "I'm just a girl who wants you to be nice to me. I am straight as an arrow."

Even as Forbes Magazine ranked her as the highest-paid actress in all of Hollywood in 2015 at $52 million, Lawrence was adamant that she hardly has it all. In fact, she said she still finds herself largely "insecure" around others.

"It's strangely exhilarating because you keep trying to fight for that validation," she said. "You want to have [validation] before you get married, so that you don't seek it out once you are. I feel like I need to meet a guy, with all due respect, who has been living in Baghdad for five years who has no idea who I am."

Indeed, Lawrence has had her share of high-profile romances, which have all fizzled out over one issue or another. She previously dated "X-Men" co-star Nicholas Hoult on and off for three years. More recently, she was spied on the arm of Coldplay front man and Gwyneth Paltrow ex Chris Martin.

As for the prospect of one day settling down with a family of her own, Lawrence was sure she's up to the challenge, but not so sure if the opportunity to prove it will ever present itself.

"I can't wait to be married," she said. "I feel like if I find that one person who I want to spend the rest of my life with, who I want to be the father of my children, that I would absolutely not f*ck it up. But I'm also not banking on that."
