"Abra Cadaver," the seventh episode of "iZombie" Season 2 has done the imaginable, which is for Liv and Blaine to team up. It was an exciting twist because Blaine was the reason why Liv became a zombie.

Blaine's proposal

Comic Book noted, citing the episode's synopsis, that Blaine (David Anders) will deliver some "interesting news" to Liv (Rose McIver). Blaine revealed that someone is out there killing zombies, particularly his rich clients who pay him big just to continue living peacefully after their need for human brains was satisfied, Celeb Dirty Laundry noted. Although it means bad news for his business as he will not be earning from them, it simply suggests that he could be next. He went to Liv so that she could help him solve this mystery before it's too late. After all, Liv is also a zombie, whose existence is now in peril.

Liv eventually agreed, especially upon knowing it is not just bad zombies the hunter is after, but also good ones. Blaine is also worried that he could be next because the killer may not know that he has already been turned back into human. Liv injected him with the cure Ravi (Rahul Kohli) created last season.

Will the two know soon that the person whom they are looking for is none other than Major (Robert Buckley), Liv's ex-fiancé and current boyfriend?

Major's dilemma

Major is having a hard time being in a romantic relationship with Liv again, now that she is a zombie. In the episode, it was shown how he could not be intimate with her as she would just turn him into a zombie, too. In Season 1, she already changed him into a zombie to save his life. After telling Liv he did not appreciate that decision -- as zombies were the ones who killed the shelter boys he guided -- Liv injected him with the last dose of the cure.

Aside from that, Major could not cope well when Liv's personality is influenced by the murder victims' traits after eating their brains. In this particular episode, "Liv consumes the brains of a death-obsessed illusionist" and her action just creeped him out. Thus, Major then tries to "distance himself" from her brain-eating girlfriend.

Ravi-Peyton-Blaine

Ravi decided to cut ties with his girlfriend, Steph. However, is it already too late for him to date Liv's best friend, Peyton (Aly Michalka), whom he really likes and liked him too in Season 1? Peyton seems to be getting cozy with Blaine.

What could be the next challenges for these characters? Tune in next week on Nov. 24 at 9:00 p.m. ET on The CW.
