Trey Songz was a trending topic all over Twitter last night after falling victim to yet another Twitter hoax created by a hacker in an attempt to tarnish the singer's female "heart throb" image.

At around 5:48 p.m., the hacker tweeted an image of what appeared to be Songz's verified Twitter account. The image included a post that read, "I think it's time to finally tell my fans. All games and jokes aside...I'm gay."

Naturally, this caused instant shockwaves all over Twitter and Instagram, sending his female fan base into a disappointed frenzy as they re-tweeted the image and created memes in response to the shocking statement.

The post was quickly deleted and Songz has since denied that he ever created the post. The "Na-Na" singer retaliated with a series of tweets following the incident.

He wrote, "Photoshop and a retweet is all people need to believe, any and everything. I feel bad for the impressionable, no minds of their own. If I'm gay then Tupac bringing me a ounce for this session wit Biggie tomorrow. No weapon. #Love."

This hoax is one of many homosexual-infused rumors that the singer has been caught in the middle of over the past few years.  Among them was the biggest rumor that included a picture posted of a Trey Songz look-a-like kissing another man back in 2012. Despite the countless number of occurrences and rumors fueling the Trey Songz gay speculations, the singer continues to remain seemingly unbothered by the "haters."

Although it is unsure whether the Trey Songz gay rumors will ever cease, the singer continues to uphold his "heart throb" persona with the release of his latest single and video for the song, "Na-Na," that features Songz engaging in a steamy workout with a sexy female counterpart.  Check out the video here.
