But what can eager Apple fans expect to debut during today's keynote?

First, the new iOS 7 is nearly guaranteed to make an appearance. Apple has already teased the latest update to its iPhone and iPad operating system on its website. iOS7 will certainly have a new look, and it may include iRadio, a music streaming service similar to Pandora.

Desktop and laptop users may see an update to their operating systems. Mac OS 10.9 will likely hit shelves sometime this year, and today could be the unveiling. That's less likely than the iOS7 7 launch, as OS 10.8 Mountain Lion still has plenty of momentum behind it. If it lasts as long as its predecessor Snow Leopard, we might not see an update until the fall.

The Macbook Air is due for a tune-up, and probably a hardware refresh. The last two years have seen the Air improve its internal components, but the machines look much the same from the outside. There may be a form factor change, but aesthetic upgrades are more likely. The Air could also get Thunderbolt 2 for faster internet video speeds. A Retina display is unlikely until the cost comes down significantly.

Apple got plenty of flack for updating the last iPad too quickly, so don't expect to see any refresh today.

And as for the iPhone, the 5S probably won't make its debut until this fall, but even then, it will likely still look like an iPhone 5. Hipsters and case manufacturers, rejoice!
