'The Leftovers' Season 2 Episode 10 Spoilers: Chaos Comes to Miracle [Watch]
The upcoming Season 2 finale of HBO"s "The Leftovers" can be described as complete chaos.
According to the TV Guide synopsis for Episode 10, Kevin (Justin Theroux) reveals to an already suspicious and desperate John (Kevin Carroll) that he may have had something to do with Evie's (Jasmin Savoy Brown) disappearance. However, we know that Meg (Liv Tyler) has Evie, and therefore Kevin is in the clear.
From the preview of the finale, we see Meg on the bridge in handcuffs after driving a car through the gate. She doesn't seem bothered and instead seems pleased, while watching things get hectic on the bridge.
While it is unclear what Meg is up to, viewers can see she has concocted a plan to prove that there is nothing special about the town or Evie.
The clip also shows John and Erika (Regina King) running on the bridge for some unknown reason, but they both seem pretty worked up. Viewers also get a look at Nora (Carrie Coon), who is apparently back in town. Whatever is happening, it's clear that no one is safe and everyone will be affected.
With the finale only days away, fans are wondering what the future of the series will be. There has been no official word yet on whether series will be renewed for Season 3 next year.
According to Enstarz, the show may be in danger because of a drop in ratings. While Season 2 has seen strong critical reception, viewers have simply dropped off this season. Season 2 has been a far cry from Season 1, with no episode able to climb above 1 million viewers. The lowest viewership for Season 1 of the series was 1.38 million.
While the ratings did go up throughout the course of Season 2, the response was still not as strong as that for the show's first season.
