Nintendo announced today that Mario Kart 8 will be released May 30 for the Wii U and it will be available in a premium bundle version in the U.S. for $330

Gamers will be able to enjoy saving their favorite clips, replaying them in slow motion and even uploading them to Miiverse for others to view.

Not only that, but Mario Kart 8 players will be able to upload their clips to YouTube right from their Wii U console. This feature isn't available on PlayStation 4, and Xbox One just started allowing users to upload to YouTube two weeks ago.

Those who don't already have a Wii U system will be able to purchase the Mario Kart 8 premium bundle. The bundle includes a Wii Deluxe system, Mario Kart 8, a red Mario wheel controller and a red Mario Wii Remote Plus controller. This bundle will cost $330.

For gamers who already have a Wii U, Mario Kart 8 purchases will offer a free game download absolutely free. Gamers can choose from 10 different games including The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD, Pikmin 3 and Nintendo Land.

The free game download will require gamers to register their Mario Kart 8 game with Club Nintendo.

Mario Kart 8's gameplay will add new courses, characters and items. An item that has gamers talking already is the Super Horn. The Super Horn is like a force field around your kart, protecting you from incoming items being shot at you. The Super Horn will even be able to destroy an incoming blue shell.

Two new characters are confirmed already: Baby Rosalina and Pink Gold Peach. Pink Gold Peach is the Princess Peach equivalent to Metal Mario.

On the official Mario Kart 8 website, a new ATV vehicle is shown. The vehicle is shown with Rosalina riding it.

You can preorder Mario Kart 8 at various retailers.
