Boca Juniors and Independiente face off in the second leg of the Copa Libertadores on Thursday.

The Argentine side is looking to keep its country's streak of two consecutive championships in the tournament alive but faces an uphill battle after losing 2-1 in the first leg of the semifinal. Boca Juniors had a decent campaign thus far as the defeat against Independiente was its first loss of the tournament through the group stage, round of 16 and quarterfinals.

Of course given the scoreline, Boca Juniors only needs one goal to win the match and head off to the final to take on Colombia's Atletico Nacional in the two-legged final. That of course is easier said than done, especially when considering that Boca Juniors held an early 1-0 lead in its previous match against Independiente de Valle and wound up conceding two goals on its way to losing the game.

Player to Watch

Carlos Tevez is always the one to draw attention on the pitch for Boca and has been the team's MVP with five goals in the tournament.

Road to Semifinal

Boca Juniors started its campaign winning Group 3 with three wins and three draws and a total of 12 points in the process. The team then overcame Paraguay's Cerro Porteno in the round of 16 by an aggregate of 5-2 before between Uruguayan side Nacional on penalties in the quarterfinals.

Independiente finished second in Group 5 behind Atletico Mineiro with three wins, two draws and one loss. In the round of 16 the team faced River Plate and managed to win 2-1 on aggregate before overcoming UNAM in penalties during the quarterfinals.

Boca Juniors win 2-0 to get to the final.
