“Power” returns to Starz this Sunday Sept. 18 with one more episode before the season finale. Who will die next and who will be sent to jail?

Kanan is Officially Back

James ‘Ghost’ St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick) thinks Kanan (Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson) is dead after their big brawl in the Season 2 finale. Little does he know, Kanan survived the fire and stab wound, and is slowly trying to get back at him through is son Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr.).

In the “Power” Season 3 Episode 9 promo, Tariq walks with Kanan through a sneaker store. Kanan introduced himself to Tariq under the alias Slim in the previous episode and lured the naive kid to an old apartment. As Kanan was about to shoot Tariq in the back of his head, the teen admitted that he hated his dad, winning Kanan’s heart.

What is Kanan up to? Does he have Tariq selling drugs? It could possible that Kanan wants Tariq to turn on Ghost, the same way that Ghost made Kanan’s own son turn on him.

Dre (Rotimi) asks Kanan what type of “history lesson” is he trying to give Ghost but Kanan said he needs to just sit back and watch. Will Tariq be the next one to die in “Power,” or will Ghost come in like the hero he is, save his son, and kill Kanan for once and for all?

Kanan also threatened to throw Dre’s daughter out the window if he does not comply so she could be next.

Ghost Investigation

Meanwhile, Greg (Andy Bean) is forcing Ruiz (Luis Antonio Ramos) to wear a bug while in a meeting with Ghost and the rest of the crew to finally crack down on the Felipe Lobos (Enrique Murciano) case. With his life on the line, will Ruiz do it to save himself some jail time?

If Ruiz does not wear the bug, he will go to jail. But if he does, the crew can find out and kill him. Which is he willing to lose; His life or his freedom?

Tommy’s Revenge

Ghost promised Ruiz a spot at the top if he does one more job for him because he will be out of the game for good after that. But Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora) wants to be the King when Ghost leaves.

Will Tommy turn on his buddy after being brainwashed by Milan (Callan Mulvey)?
