NCIS Los Angeles' Season 8 will reportedly undergo some changes, considering the characters in the show. It is rumored that Daniela Ruah has called it quits to take a maternity leave. Her character Kensi Blye, the smart NCIS agent, has undergone a severe spinal injury in the show during a fight against the Syrian mercenaries, leading to her comatose condition. The fans are really upset to find this and are very eager to know the future updates.

There is no report about Kensi's death in the show, but her recovery will take a long time. Carter Matt says that due to the seriousness of the heavy injuries, Kensi's recovery cannot happen overnight like a fairy tale, so, the fans have to hold their patience, reports iTech Post. So, in all possibilities, Ruah will come back to the show after a certain break.

Miguel Ferrer is said to be leaving the show and there are a lot of speculations over that. It is being said that he have had a serious heart attack and his slurring in the last few episodes supports the statement. Also, there is a hereditary threat of cancer in his family, as both, his parents died of cancer. So, speculations over his illness become quite natural. His character in the show, According to IBTimes, Owen Granger is also sick and the fact is known by Hetty.  In the show, Granger says to Hetty, " Doctors!  They're like lawyers with knives. They're still trying to figure this out. But it's probably just a lifetime of bad decisions- smoking, drinking."

However, the fact of Ferrer's illness is still not confirmed and he is allegedly coming back to the role of Albert Rosenfield, the FBI agent in the show Twin Peaks. So, even if he quits NCIS, fans can catch him up in Twin Peaks, a 1990 classic.
