Angelina Jolie gave an exclusive interview to promote her new directorial project this weekend and aside from talking about her new movie she also graciously answered questions about her divorce with Brad Pitt. .The "Maleficent" star said that despite this difficult time in their lives, she hopes that her family could become stronger and closer. Angelina also said that her kids keep her focused all these months.

This interview is Angelina Jolie's first time opening up about her divorce from Brad Pitt, People reported. She was interviewed by Yalda Hakim from BBC News in Cambodia where she and her children attended the premiere of her directorial film. Initially, she sounded upset when she was asked how she was doing and about her divorce saying she did not want to talk about it that much. Then she revealed that she and her kids are in a difficult time.

Angelina Jolie pointed out that they will always be family no matter what happens. The "Tomb Raider" actress said she is able to get through the whole ordeal by focusing on her kids Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10 and Knox and Vivienne, 8. She also admitted that at times she has a lot in her hands, E! News reported. She mentioned waking up with all her children in her room along with their pets. She would sometimes worry about every day things such as taking care of pets, breakfast and her kids' hygiene; proof that a Hollywood superstar like her is just like any parent going through the tough moments of divorce.

Finally, Angelina Jolie also revealed that she thinks that a few years from now she would be living in a home full of teenagers, each one with their own lives. She dreams of visiting her children in different parts of the world as they do interesting things. Ange wants her kids to shine not through Hollywood but by having a good sense of the world and being well-rounded individuals.
