Even though the network is yet to announce "The Big Bang Theory" season 11 renewal, recent reports have surfaced claiming that the show will continue for two more seasons with fresh pay hikes for its lead stars.

According to Deadline, "The Big Bang Theory" season 11 renewal is very close to be finalized as CBS prepares to sign the lead cast members for a two-season deal. Rumor has it that the five lead stars - Johnny Galecki (Leonard Hofstader), Kaley Cuoco (Penny), Jim Parsons (Sheldon Cooper), Kunal Nayyar (Rajesh Koothrapalli) and Simon Helberg (Howard Wolowitz) - are all set to get $1M per episode.

Meanwhile, the contracts are also at the negotiation stage for Melissa Rauch (Bernadette) and Mayim Bialik (Amy Farrah Fowler) who are earning $175,000 per episode. However, considering Bialik's Emmy nominations and Rauch's developing story, it is likely that these two stars will also get a major salary bump in their ongoing negotiations.

Now that "The Big Bang Theory" Season 11 renewal is almost imminent and may go up to season 12, the showrunners and their team are coming up with exciting stories for the upcoming seasons. One of the likeliest stories to feature in the next seasons will be Sheldon and Amy's relationship progression.

As the viewers already saw that Sheldon was prepared to propose to Amy in show's Season 9, but the latter moved on thinking that her current boyfriend has no plans of taking their relationship to the next level. As a result, Amy breaks up with Sheldon and starts dating other men, foiling latter's plan to pop the question. However, soon the two not only made their relationship official but also engaged in "coitus" for the first time. In season 10, the Amy and Sheldon are living together.

Steve Molaro in an interview with Entertainment Tonight confirmed that they will write a fresh story about the ring that never featured after Sheldon told Penny and Leonard about it. Molaro added that the ring will come up again, but not immediately.

"Big Bang Theory" Season 11 renewal does not have a release date yet. However, season 10 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
