Every "Overwatch" player can agree that Bastion is a strange Hero. Not only does he cause misery and disappointment to new players, he's also an easy target for anyone experienced or is playing on a coordinated team.

According to VG 24/7, his static nature of play, relatively weak Configuration: Recon ability, and inability to be viable and useful outside of his Configuration: Sentry has seen him bring little impact to the game. Despite him still being fun and being more than capable of doing really well in PUG matches, it's fair to say that he deserved some much-needed buffs.

Finding that perfect spot between his ability to freely roam outside of his Configuration: Sentry, with the capacity to still pressure and damage enemies from far and still gun them down, is pretty challenging. Which is why players are really happy and excited that the "Overwatch" team is finally bringing in some much-needed updates to this well-loved character.

For anyone who is not yet aware, Bastion has just received some significant changes on the Public Test Realm. Here's a dose of the new Bastion, courtesy of Se7en.

Configuration: Sentry - Ability Deploy time decreased from 1.5 seconds to 1 second, Bullet spread increased by 50 percent, Bullet spread no longer increases as the weapon is fired, Magazine size increased from 200 to 300, Headshot damage multiplier removed, Critical damage possibility removed

Configuration: Recon - Bullet spread decreased by 25 percent. Self-Repair can now be used while moving, is now bound to secondary fire, and it is no longer interrupted while taking damage.

Configuration: Tank - Ability no longer grants plus armor. Bastion has a new passive called Ironclad, Bastion now takes 35 percent less damage while in Sentry or Tank mode.

Even without diving onto the Player Test Realm, it's definitely a set of undeniable buffs that the hero truly deserves. With that being said, players can't wait for these changes to be imported in the main game client.
