"Pokemon GO" enthusiasts were on cloud nine as Niantic promised 100 more creatures available for its Gen 2 updates last year. But after playing for weeks, players have found out that aside from easily capturing only less than 50 Pokemons in the wild, there are 16 monsters that are unable to hatch from eggs.

"Pokemon GO" players are starting to feel cheated and are ready to quit the game as Niantic announced a new update that will happen soon involving Legendary Pokemons.

It seems that when players do the math, there are less than 50 out of the promised 100 Pokemons available to be captured in the wild, Forbes reported. Niantic promised 100 new creatures but it looks like a number are quite impossible to find.

Part of the 100 Gen 2 Pokemons, players should deduct 7 Gen 2 babies featured before the update, 6 Legendary Pokemons, Smeargle, Heracross, Corsola, 8 Pokemons from Gen 2 items, 12 Pokemons that do not hatch from eggs and 15 evolved Pokemons from the 12 creatures that cannot hatch from eggs. This leaves around 49 creatures ready to collect.

16 Gen 2 Pokemons that are unable to hatch from eggs include Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Marill, Totodile, Sunkern, Lanturn, Hopip, Murkrow, Snubbull, Swinub, Teddirursa and Houndour. Players report that these creatures may appear depending on location and hence could be very difficult to collect them all.

Meanwhile, Birmingham Mail reported that Niantic teased "Pokemon GO" players by saying that Professor Willow may soon announce a special message. Niantic is said to be releasing Legendary Pokemons soon and is ready to please players since they have learned that it is impossible to keep players interested by releasing only 6 creatures at a time.

Reports said that Niantic is set to release Legendary Pokemons but it will happen in the next months. The game company is eyeing spring and summer releases because this is the time players have more time to go back to the game and explore. As of this time, Niantic has not set an official date for the release of the Legendary creatures.
