Gwen Stefani actually thought that working with beau Blake Shelton would be a bitter pill to swallow, but turns out it's the opposite for her. The songwriter believed co-hosting with the boyfriend at the reality platform "The Voice" would be "weird," but it isn't the case.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the insider contacted Stefani at the Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday, where the 47-year old opened up about workplace romance and how she works in the presence of Shelton. Since the two are involved in a romantic association, her anxieties in terms of sharing the musical stage at "The Voice" were unexplainable.

The "Don't Speak" singer admitted that when the next season of "The Voice" was approaching, she was a little nervous and fidgety. "But, you know, the show is so real. All it is is us just being there and being us," says Stefani. Ultimately, the situation has been much livelier and less strained. "Obviously, any time I can be around Blake is a blessing," reports Just Jared.

The seven-time Grammy nominee, Shelton was reportedly hosting an award grand soirée last year in San Diego, delivering his musical knacks in the form of a concert. The "Make Me Like You" prodigy, Stefani was also present alongside her three children to support her current significant other for the annual slime-fest, finding yet another platform to put on a loved-up display, other than appearing on "The Voice."

Other than being a constant coach of "The Voice," Gwen was asked about parenting advice. Stefani, the mother of three dished out that she never gives any advice about anything. 'I'm just so blessed to have them I have so much fun, "The Rich" girl gushed about her three children.

Stefani and Shelton were seen in the public eye romantically after they both encountered split with Rossdale and country singer Miranda Lambert, respectively. The "Hey Baby" singer and Rossdale were involved in a marital union for 13 years, while Shelton and Miranda were married for five years. As for now, the high-spirited duo has been regularly making appearances at "The Voice."

The 47-year old American songwriter Stefani and Shelton began dating in November 2015. The 12th Season of "The Voice" premiered in February. She has been working alongside Alicia Keys and Adam Levine as a judge on the reality talent show.
