As many political experts have predicted, there are already several people within Donald Trump's inner circle who are turning on the former president, including some of his co-defendants, as he faces four criminal trials in Georgia, Washington DC, Florida, and New York.

Court documents and hearings have shown that several people close to the former president, as well as some of his closest allies and even some lesser-known associates, are starting to turn against Trump to save their own skins from prosecution.

Michael Cohen, a former member of Donald Trump's inner circle and was previously the former president's personal attorney and fixer, spoke with Politico and stated, "History has shown the 18 co-defendants that Donald doesn't care about anyone but himself."

The former Trump attorney then added, "I suspect it will be every defendant for himself."

Cohen was one of the first people who was within Trump's inner circle to turn on him as he is now the star witness against his former client in the New York hush-money case. Much like Cohen, other Trump allies may seek to save themselves by giving out information against the ex-POTUS.

Yuscil Taveras, who worked for Mar-a-Lago, has also turned against the former president in the classified documents case. He changed his testimony and flipped to dodge a possible perjury charge that prosecutors floated. He was tasked by Trump to delete security tapes from Mar-a-Lago in a cover-up attempt to hide evidence that he tried keeping classified documents in his Florida home.

Meanwhile, over in Georgia, three of his RICO case co-defendants have asserted that they tried interfering in the results of the state's election at the behest of the former president. Mark Meadows, another key Trump ally and his former White House Chief of Staff, has also signaled that he may be blaming Trump as well.

Fani Willis Laid Out the Case Vs. Donald Trump's Fake Electors

Part of the Georgia case is Donald Trump's use of fake electors to try and steal the results of the 2020 election. Now, Georgia prosecutors contended that these fake electors were part of an elaborate scheme that would have ultimately gotten Trump to illegally retain the presidency through fraud.

"Defendant's argument is akin to claiming that a homemade badge could transform him into a genuine United States Marshal with all the powers afforded that position," stated Fulton County District Attorney in a recent filing obtained by Politico. "Repeating a fiction does not make the statement true."

Willis rejected the filing of one of these fake electors, Shawn Still, who tried to transfer the case to federal court. Still, along with Cathleen Latham and David Shafer, are the three fake electors charged alongside Donald Trump in the Georgia RICO case.

New York Attorney General Wants Donald Trump and Sons Fined Over Frivolous Arguments

Over in New York, where Trump is facing both civil and criminal cases, Andrew Amer, an assistant to New York Attorney General Letitia James, filed a request that Donald Trump, his adult sons, other defendants, and their lawyers be fined $20,000 over their frivolous arguments which have been rejected by the court multiple times.

According to The Guardian, Amer called these arguments "borderline frivolous even the first time defendants made them." He then noted a previous observation by a judge that reading Trump's briefs was "deja vu all over again." Because of this, the New York AG is seeking that Trump and his team be reprimanded with fines.
