Tim Tebow is not yet giving up on his dream to return to the National Football League and the quarterback admitted that he is expecting a call as the 2014 NFL training camp starts this week.

Tebow said in an interview with KSAZ-TV that he has been working out with quarterback mentor Tom House to improve his skills and keep himself in playing shape for a possible comeback in the upcoming season.

The former Denver Broncos and New York Jets quarterback, who failed to crack into the New England Patriots roster last season, said that he is feeling great at this point and has been showing improvements as of late.

"I feel great," Tebow said. "I feel the strongest, healthiest, throwing the best I ever have. I'm just really excited about the improvement."

Tebow was released by the Patriots before the start of the 2013-14 NFL season and has not been a full-time starting QB since the 2011 season. Most analysts and fans have already counted him out, but the 26-year-old QB is not yet ready to surrender his hopes of having a successful professional career.

"One of my favorite quotes is 'I don't know what my future holds, but I know who holds my future.' And in that, it gives you peace to just continue to work, go after what your heart desires and when you do that, you don't have any regrets. I think that's the best way to live life," Tebow said.

The former Florida standout also said in an interview last month that he has been training rigorously because he knows that an opportunity could come along before the start of next season.

"I'm training every day and feel like I'm the best that I've ever been," Tebow said in an interview with The Tennessean. "I still love it, love playing, talking about it, and I'm just excited about whatever the future holds. Who knows what could happen? But I'm excited about it, though."

Tebow signed a multi-year agreement as analysts for the SEC Network with an option to opt out of his deal once an NFL team expresses interest in signing him to a playing contract.
