In what's becoming sort a trend on "Va Por Ti," host Galilea Montijo once again found herself on the floor after dancing.

But, it's not the only interesting thing that happened on the Univision show.

Dulce Maria was noticeably absent. The team captain was vacation in Brazil, but she left her team in the hands of group Ha-Ash.

The show kicked off with the elimination round, where Arias Martín, Espiridión Magaña and Michelle Lardiere went up against each other. After the three performed, it was revealed that Magaña received the public vote, and he made it through. And Martín ended up being saved by the judges.

But it wasn't over for Lardiere. She is currently competing against last week's eliminated contestant, Yesenia Hernandez. This means that viewers can vote for one of the ex-contestants on the online rematch.

The first round of contestants had to sing "Mientes" by Camila, which means they had their work cut out for them. Each had to find a way to make their version stand out.

The second round was dedicated to judge Alejandra Guzman. Three singers sang three different songs. Guzman was particularly impressed with Stephanie Guzman, who got a second chance just the week before.

The third round didn't have restrictions, so contestant Jose Palacio sang "Bailando" by Enrique Iglesias and was joined by a dancing woman on stage. Danny Montejo ended up having a very emotional moment on stage. He shared the moment he found out his significant other was going to have a boy.

To make the show less formulaic, it was broken up with a different kind of performance from the contestants. They dressed in period costumes and sang a song for "The Boxtrolls," which will premiere on Sept. 26.

The fourth round had contestants singing songs from guest judge Ricardo Montaner, and the last round was in honor of Jenni Rivera. Vivian Mitre seemed to have a leg up on her competition, as she auditioned with a Jenni Rivera song.

Out of all the groups, Joyce, Stephanie, Ricardo, Vivian and Mario faced elimination. Only two were saved, which were Ricardo and Stephanie.
